Re: Martha and Jack
Martha led Jack into the examination room and once again was reminded of Torchwood where she should be right now. The familiarity was kind of annoying her a little.
She then glanced at Jack and their hands. "Oh, sorry", she said letting go of him. It was just such a natural thing to do by now that she hadn't even thought about it. It might be weird for him however. Or maybe not. He was a companion after all, even if he hadn't met her yet. They walked around hand in hand all the time.
She smiled at his words. "Guess I have an advantage. "But you know, you might be happy that you don't remember some of the things we've been through", she told him as she gestured for him to sit down so she could have a look at the headwound.
Then she rolled his eyes as he pulled out the hand. It still creeped her out a little. "You know, I was really wondering what kind of creep you are when I found that hand in your bag the first time", she told him. How was she supposed to know that the doctor could just regrow a hand?
"Well, I don't think the doctor is the reason you got here. We've kind of been kidnapped and brought here to fight in the final war of good and evil. Yeah, sounds nuts. But I've seen enough in my live to know that nothing is impossible." Not even crossing timelines obviously, which should be a very bad idea.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know where the doctor is. Should be here, shouldn't he? I mean if we really have to fight evil in some big war, I'd bring the doctor here."
She then grabbed Jack by the arm and pulled him over to a chair. "Sit down", she told him firmly. She needed to see that headwound.
"Hm, that needs cleaning", she said. She had half hoped it was just dried blood and nothing else. "Guess you didn't die this time", she pointed out as she grabbed some things to clean the wound. There would be no wound if he died.
"So, you were on the way to the TARDIS when you were brought here?", she then asked. She guessed he was from just before they met, unless he carried that hand around with him all the time.
