"I'm what-- impossible? Now Doc, do I really seem like an impossible kind of guy to you?" he asked, mixing serious with teasing as he held his hands out from his sides, mimicking a defenseless and harmless pose.
"I was hoping he ran because he felt guilty for abandoning me there. But since you're so charming and we're friends, I forgive him and I'm happy the TARDIS likes me once again."
Jack dropped his hands and he touched the wounded spot on his head. "I can't say I'm in pain though I suppose you wouldn't approve of us going dancing? Do they even have dancing in this place, Doc? Sorry, what's your name? At least I have a good excuse for asking that, don't I?"
He smiled. Jack was finally feeling a bit tired from his traumatic arrival but he'd certainly felt worse so it was nothing. He was the tiniest light-headed though he could probably fix that by having something to eat.
