She frowned at the news of what was to come and what was causing it. But at least in the end they stopped it. Daleks...She shuddered at the thought. The last time she had faced them, she had lost him 'forever' supposedly and now it seemed like that was the case again. Though now...perhaps not.
"It was worth the risk," she said with a small smile. She had been told countless of times of how dangerous it was and how nothing was certain but she ignored it because when she put her mind to something it was hard for her to let go of it, especially when it came to him. Her arms tighten around him in the embrace. She didn’t want to let go. Not ever. But she knew she had to. Slowly her grip slipped again and she stared into his eyes. Oh how she had missed him.
"I suppose I am once again. Guess it's not so bad, yeah?" She gave him a wink. And then she found herself biting her lip wondering if he had ever answered her.
"I..." she took in another breath trying to form her words carefully. "Did you...You finished that sentence, yeah?" Whatever it was that he was going to say that day on that ill fated beach.
