"Maybe it's not a general", Henry said. "Noone I met here has seen the one who brought us here. According to the welcoming letters in our rooms it is either good or evil who brought us here."
Henry watched Yazoo. Seeing his pupils change made him even more certain that these men weren't completely human.
"Good. Wouldn't want you to hurt the wrong people in the final war."
When Kadaj spoke Henry turned to him. "That means the good side brought you here." He was glad that they didn't arrive on the wrong side of town. A small part of him however wouldn't have minded if they were evil. He could have taken them down and drank from them in that case. They really did smell good!
He then shrugged. "It's not like we've been told much." He was still annoyed about that. He liked to know details, especially who exactly he was fighting against. And he would have loved to know why there were children here. Children shouldn't fight wars.
"You're in the living quarters of the good side of town now." He then pointed at a map on the wall. "There's a map so you can find your way around. The evil side of town is that way." He pointed in the direction.
Then he gestured towards a board. "Announcements will be put there." Lists with guard duty announcements, work shifts and self defence training sessions were hanging there at the moment.
