"That's way more eloquent than I could have put it. But yeah." And just like that, she decided that she really liked Matt. It was rare that people 'got' it, but Matt seemed to be someone who took the time to understand people a little more.
"I can get behind growing the food," she said with a smile. "And fresh vegetables taste so much better than the produce you can find at the store. Especially living in the city."
There were some neighborhoods where the only groceries could be found at a neighborhood convenience store, so it was hard to find fresh produce. Which was one of the many reasons that eating healthy wasn't always easy in poor neighborhoods.
"Thai is good too, though. I'm definitely missing takeout around here. I mean, the food is delicious on this train, but it would be nice to be able to have Thai or sushi or even just pizza, you know?"
She did like to eat. Savoring food was one of life's unalterable pleasures.
