Laurel still didn't quite know what to do with herself on the train. Even though there'd been talk of organizing to defend the train and its passengers, she hadn't seen anything that they needed to be defended from yet. She was aimless. Which wasn't a good thing for someone who did much better when she didn't have much time to stew in her own losses. However, she was a lot stronger than she'd been a little over a year ago. There wasn't much to do on the train besides drink and eat, so she'd avoided the car with the bar and stuck to the observation deck and the lounge, which was basically a glorified tea room.
She'd spent a lot of time watching the people on board and attempting to talk to some of them. It was good to know who else was stuck in here with her. She'd taken a seat not too far from the cute guy who was dressed to match the formal atmosphere of the car. She recognized him from the meeting about the Avengers and Defenders, though she didn't remember him saying all that much.
"If we have to be stuck here, at least the food is top notch," she said, by way of opening.
