Nate raised a brow slightly as she opened the door then laughed at her comment. "I didn't see a land lady. Don't tell me she's into doll baby's too." He teased as he walked inside her place and took a little look around. He didn't want her to think he was gawking or something. He just couldn't help but be nosy and check the place out for a second.
Nate shook his head but looked at her, "Mind? Of course I mind. I mean, come on, who can't be ready to go when you want to? You don't have to beg. We got all night." Again he was teasing in the first part, the smile growing on his face. Since she'd rambled then headed out, she couldn't see his face but hopefully would tell he was joking.
"I went into the garage for a little bit too," he informed her. She'd told him to make himself at home but instead he walked around a little checking the place out. Yeah, he was a little nosy. He'd known her from the diner and talked to her but you could get a slight sense of someone by where they hung their hat, so to speak.
Waiting was something he didn't mind. If she wanted to finish getting ready, who was he to say no. It wasn't like he had no patience. Well, sometimes he didn't, like when he drove but this wasn't the same thing. Nate, for all intents and purposes, had a pretty decent demeanor. He turned to move around the living room, since he still hadn't taken a seat, and checked out some more of her walls. "You have a nice place here," he commented.
