Ilium took a tumble this weekend. ;_; The cats are in disgrace and DOD is, of course, out of stock.
can anybody out there lend this boy a hand?
I think actually he liked having the bandaged hand with the broken fingers better, because it made him look all tough and badass. Now I put on one of his spares and he's sitting around pinky-swearing at people all the time. Or as he says: \m/
....stupid cats.
I've never had any of them break anything before, and I guess, all things considered, Ilium's fingers are the easiest to replace, or maybe Nico's. Hounds are phasing out of production, and as for getting anything from angel region now, much less in the crystal rose white resin, there's no way. So we're lucky in that regard. Ilium didn't even fall that far, he just slid off his couch and onto the floor, maybe two feet, tops.
but then, Janus did kind of land on top of him. I'll probably glue him in the meantime, but that's not really very sturdy.
*sigh*
my baby is broken. I feel like such a bad doll mom. ;_;

But really, it was all just sort of a joke until I realized we have a doll-sized flip top blue cell phone.
Worksafe, though probably you wish it wasn't. I know I do. ^_^;

(actually today I shot an H&H short ep that's all about the General lying around disheveled and drunk, so Janus has really put in the camera hours today. I should pay him overtime! If I paid him at all.)

this is a test of the LJ feed. I got an email from LJ support saying that the source has been moved from GJ to IJ, but I don't know if that was before or after I posted this morning to the CoG IJ. It doesn't appear to be updating retroactively with the posts already there, and I can't see LJ from here, so if one of you nice people sees this post on the LJ feed, please drop me a line to let me know it's working.
Also, there should be a cut-text in effect (thanks ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) laylah!) so that syndicate readers won't get nailed with photospam, I'd love to know if that works for you or not.
And don't forget to comment to the previous post and weigh in on what kind of celebratory pr0n you'd like, if this IS working. ^_^
sorry to the IJ readers getting spammed to death with this.

Once the feed switches over and I'm sure it all works again (ie, this post shows up on the lj feed), I'm thinking I'll do a crazy PWP shoot to celebrate! And maybe I'll even do it up like a manga page, too, because I really am loving on that format.
So if I were to do that, are there any votes on what dolls/parings/themes/props? I have two drawers full of props just itching to be used in ways other than how they were intended. And eight dolls who pretty much feel the same. (Though I don't know about Moth. Sure, he's centuries old, but y'know. Even I have my limits. Though he probably doesn't.)

Just a note, thanks to darthneko I've put in a support ticket on LJ to change the feed source for people reading on LJ. You shouldn't notice any real difference about the updates, except you might get Ilium's pinup photo again. I don't know how long it will take to make the switch, but I don't have plans for doll posts until I get the General's shirt made, so here's hoping!
