Emerson sighed, scarcely refraining from rolling his eyes. She wasn't the first one who had asked, though she might've been the first one to look him up and still try to ask. He'd been part of a few covens here or there over the years, mostly participating in the bare minimum or backing out once they refused to turn away from darker subjects.
"I'm surprised you still wanted to ask mostly because I don't have a history of sticking around covens too long. I don't do the witch-second-family-kumbaya thing," he answered honestly.
