This was the first Saturday that Jenna was free, well at least not in the holding pens. She was slightly disappointed to learn that they had a farmers market on Saturdays and that she'd missed the last one. If this was one of the last ones, she was going to have to do some serious shopping. She had been given a decent amount of money to buy produce for the house, especially since she loved to cook and veggies were a must in her opinion.
With her canvas bags filled with fresh produce and some fresh cheeses, she moved over towards the craft section of the market. When she'd gotten on the bus to go to a major town, she hadn't packed as much as she would have liked. For example, she didn't have gloves or a scarf for winter. Back in Texas, winter never got exactly cold enough to really need them, so she'd never thought to bring her only pair with her.
As she perused the goods, she saw a pair of fuchsia gloves and matching scarf. Jenna was a little worried about buying them without getting her master's firm approval first, but she didn't want to go the winter without some. Surely Emerson wouldn't mind, but if he did she'd do whatever was her punishment and do it without complaint. Moving closer to the gloves and scarf, she bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump you."
