Buffy closed her eyes and exhaled for what felt like the first time since she'd entered the study. Her shoulders relaxed, and she looked visibly less tense than she'd been. She shouldn't have worried so much about it, but the last time she'd introduced him to a friend from the camps, quite unintentionally albeit, it hadn't gone well, and she didn't want him to be wary of Willow.
"I know. I mean, I should've known. I just..." Her voice trailed off as she tried to remember how to talk like a normal person and less like her life depended on her getting out that sentence before the world exploded or something. "Will means a lot to me. Daniel was my friend. And a witch, and that just went so horribly wrong... I dunno. I thought you might be weird about it. I should've known you wouldn't be, but Buffy and logic do not always walk hand in hand, if you haven't noticed." She wouldn't be at all opposed to him checking out this Doctor or whatever either. In fact, it would probably help her be less worried about Willow if Ambrose got some additional information on the guy.
