Re: Holding Pens: Buffy
Ambrose chuckled and looked down at his feet. He knew she would be asking that. Yes he did seem too good to be true, maybe he was joking himself that he could be more human than vampire sometimes.
"You know just about ever human I have had has asked me that." He looked back up at her, trying to convey the truth with his eyes as well as his words. "I am a good guy." He looked around to make sure no one was listening. "Most of my world thinks that I put on this act to get a human to obey, but in reality. I am this way. I am sorry I disappointed you. I know you would have rather had a blood thirsty vampire, but I left that man behind many, many years ago." His face darkened as he said the last part, then it was gone and he straightened up when he saw the handler coming back.
"There you are finally. I thought I would have to come and find you. I would like to go home soon with my new acquisition." Now that was an act that he put on for the handler. He had already told her too much about him out in the open. He let the man past him to open the pen as he signed the necessary paper work.
