It was with a second of hesitation Allison lowered her arms to her sides, looking down at the floor as she did, not wanting to see who would be passing to see her the way she was. At the very least, she hoped the people she knew didn't see her like that, or thought any less of her because of it.
Pet. She blinked at the word a few times, at first not registering them as anything strange, before shaking her head. "I'm a human being. I'm not a... a pet." She said softly, hoping that no one overheard her answering back - with other people around, she knew that being caught speaking out of term wouldn't serve her well.
