Re: Side Rooms: Emerson and Piper
Luckily, Renee was too preoccupied counting his money to say goodbye before she was lead to a cloaked room to meet the winning buyer. This master/slave shit was bullshit, he won her and that made Piper the prize. But now she was tired and let out a heavy sigh that made her body bend in exhaustion. She just needed this day, this auction to be over.
Straightening quickly when she heard the door squeak, the dishevelled looking man sauntered in like he had all the time in the world. Piper had a feeling he might challenge her instinct to sit on her hip and cross her arms over her chest a lot, just something about him. The smile she offered was small and casual, not quite sure what he could really want from someone like her. GQ guy, she could read like a book but not this one.
"Piper. I draw the line at being given a new name--" and stopped herself from going on. Piper wanted this to be different and letting her mouth run right off the bat wasn't going to help. "And what can I call you?"
Before he was given a chance to respond she frowned at his empty hands, "You didn't save me any?"
