Re: Main Auction Room: Emerson and Piper
Piper purposely blocked out the words coming from the auctioneer's mouth. It wasn't ever a real depiction of who was even if they did add "feisty" or "sassy" to the list. She wouldn't let anyone tell her who she was, no matter the money paid. And she was sure Renee added a sack of lies about her new nature as he knew it. If she was bought because of anything said, Piper would almost feel guilty for deceiving the buyer.
The brunette saw a few of the interested parties from before and tried to show her interest and allure as best she could, focusing on what she remembered liking about them. Just as she saw a gleam in the eye of a man and woman who seemed to dismiss her before, an abrupt shout came from the crowd. Piper looked in the direction of the voice with confusion and swore she heard the auctioneer stutter.
"You've gotta be kidding me," it was almost three times of her starting bid and significantly higher than Renee had paid for her. She hated the thought of him banking off of her but quick and simple was exactly what she'd been asking for.
"2100!" Not much of a counter bid from the GQ gentleman who wanted the world's most involved lapdance but something in his competitive nature must have been awakened. This definitely wasn't what she was expecting even if it was feeding her ego. Piper's eyes darted back to the man with the lazy bid. Would he counter?
