Re: Side Rooms
Allison glared at her, before sitting on the chair in the room, and looking down at the floor, in silence. It sickened her to say, but she was right - for the time being at least, she lost regardless of what she did. Over the past month, all her escape attempts, all her fighting back hadn't hurt anyone. She'd been a mild annoyance at most, but she was still here. She'd still gone through it. Hell, even Stiles was here, up for auction, and he was trained a lot more intensely than she had been. She hadn't had much of a chance to speak to anyone in the colony while she'd been there, so she couldn't imagine how many of them, like her, were there because they hadn't fought hard enough. Hadn't been strong enough. And then, there was Scott. The boy she'd fallen for, so hard, wasn't a boy any more - he was a man, he was one of them, and letting herself think about that broke her that little bit more. She'd thought he was going to be her happy ending. If that was gone, if they'd got into his brain, what chance did she have with being able to fight all this on her own.
She had to let herself make allowances. She had to pick the battles she could win. Eterna wanted her to rebel, and either way, she'd go home with her - if she agreed, there'd be a little less enjoyment on her part. It was a small thing, but it was something.
"... What do you want from me?" She asked quietly, still sitting on the chair, refusing to kneel. Refusing to assume the position she'd been taught to. If she wanted it, she'd have to make her. "What do I have to do?"
