Ten wasn't sure what he had wanted to get out of his visit. It was somewhat like the first shots across a battlefield at the start of a war, or the first glances across a bar before escaping to the loo to fuck a stranger. He hadn't been expecting someone as strong as Jack to fall at his feet and beg to take him back, so the first few stirrings of confusion were enough. He would take on the boy next.
"I don't need to try and seduce you, Jack," he said, with a lopsided smile. "Fate meant for us to be together, one way or another."
Tennison turned his back on the vampire, and slowly sauntered toward the door.
