"Won't say!" River replied all of a sudden, knowing that the words would be abrupt an assuming that was the point all at once. She tried to keep herself as far from Morgan as possible, keeping her back to him. He'd know. He was bound too. It was inevitable.
"He won't stop talking," she pleaded desperately, wondering if Morgan would see what she knew he could. She felt like him in ways, in ways she couldn't always say aloud. "He's always talking. All of them are. Even when they aren't saying anything." Her voice carried an air of desperation, but she made she that her back was to him. She was too afraid. If she could see what Simon said, she worried that he could see what she said. She was afraid, and yet she hoped it all at once.
