From where he was all wrapped up in himself at the demon's feet being happily ignored, his head snapped up at Mitchell's words.
"What?" he asked, voice rough after days of disuse. He cleared his throat, to try to help get things working again, but that didn't seem so terribly likely. "I don't...no."
He tried to press himself further against the wall like somehow he could hide in the demon's shadow and no one would see him. "I don't want to leave you."
