A wave of regret swept over Morgan, as Simon turned his back. He had taken in the siblings so that they would have a safe place to be, somewhere that they could feel comfortable, and the first thing that had made them uncomfortable was Morgan himself. He stepped close to Simon, leaning himself against the slave's back in an action that was far more personal than he had anticipated.
