The club had reopened once the storm had stopped but things still weren't back to normal. Parts of the town had flooded, and instead of glitter and glam, most people were coming to the Avalon just for some company and something to eat. It had kept Morgan busy, but not so busy that he hadn't noticed the change at home. Since Dean had left, it had felt like he was living on his own. Simon and River had kept to their rooms, and Morgan had gone back to business as usual. It was still busy downstairs, but he had actually tried to sneak up early, just to see if his suspicions were correct.
"So you are still alive," he said, as he wandered into the kitchen. "I was starting to wonder."
