Where: One of the nicer hotels in town
When: Week 8 Thursday evening
Why: Flooded basement in the cabin

"Are you fucking kidding?" Russell paced the hotel room as he spoke on the phone with the insurance agent. "No. That's not acceptable. I want it done this week so we can move back in." He'd been on the phone for what seemed like hours now with contractors and the insurance agents. Only to discover that he and Noctis would have to stay in the hotel for another two or three weeks while the contractors cleaned up the black mold that had taken root in the basement because of the flood water. The basement, the contents, including the expensive freezer and all the ruined frozen food was covered by the insurance. But Russell was discovering that the mold abatement wasn't. "I don't care how much it costs, just get it done!" He hung up with a sigh and slumped into a nearby chair. "I could use a drink or ten." Preferably something laced with wolfsbane so that he could get well and truly tanked.
