Buffy honestly felt her heart warm a little bit when Sanji talked about his Master. He didn't seem to talk about him like he was someone who owned him. He talked about him like, well, he loved him. She smiled a little bit, nodding more to herself than Sanji.
"That's very pretty. Mostly because I can tell you mean it," she said. She felt a pang in her own heart, wishing she had someone, anyone she could fully count on here, but she'd come here of her own free will, knowing full well she'd spend most of her time without that. "You trust him." It wasn't a question. "How did you get to the point where you could?" Later it would probably be beyond bizarre to her that she'd had such a personal heart to heart with someone who'd just swept her over to the dance floor.
