Ambrose cursed quietly, but let her go. She need the air and having him follow her would probably make everything worse. He watched her go before turning back to Maia.
"In evening will be best, say seven? That will give Buffy enough time to cool down, but I prefer not to kennel. Chaining her to the stairs, that might work." He might have to chain her anyway so she didn't take off his head first.
"I really should go, I don't know want her take her angry out on my car." he stood and kissed, Maia's hand. "And next time." he said, his voice getting darker. "Do not discuss our private business with my human." He let her hand go and went to find Buffy.
