Re: Seating: Buffy
"Well, we've known each other for a grand total of three days. It's not like we've been letting each other read our diaries to compare notes," Buffy couldn't help but reply a little defensively. It was then that she felt the other woman's foot on her leg, the touch causing her to jump ever-so-slightly in her seat before she stiffened like a board.
She had close her eyes and will herself not to respond with violence. This was a place where people were going to touch her because they could. A little footsie wasn't cause to knock someone out of their chair. Buffy tried her best to ignore it, though her reaction had probably already betrayed her.
"Sure. Sounds like a blast. Can't wait," she managed, her voice somewhat strained as she tried her best to control herself. It was odd. Did she feel a little insulted that Ambrose bought her and then was running off to get "therapy" sessions from a woman like Maia? No, that clearly couldn't be the case. The more random women he had sessions with, the more time she'd have to spend on forming contacts and getting things done. It was a good thing, she assured herself.
