"I'm Buffy," she replied, holding out the hand that hadn't taken the rose with a grin. She briefly wondered if she should've been alarmed by that comment, but she was getting used to the fact that Slayer or not? She was kind of weird to the vast majority of people in Crescent Hills.
"You caught me. My boredom levels must be so far off the charts that I'm radiating it, casting all the club in the glow of said boredom," she continued. It wasn't far off from the truth, either. Most of the people running around seemed to be having fun or being subjected to brand new levels of humiliation. Which was bad, but slightly less bad than being bored, in Buffy's opinion.
