Alice wasn't sure if Scott valued her quite that much. He seemed to, but then there were so many things about him that she didn't understand. An example being him wanting her to make decisions and asking her permission for things he shouldn't need to ask for... He was a walking complex to her, just as she sometimes thought she might seem to others.
"Greek. West wind," Alice repeated. It must've been nice to have a name like that, a name with so much meaning behind it. It was like a short, little song all on its own. She almost missed the part about the kissing. "Hm? Oh, um..." She had to think about that one. It wasn't that she was bothered by it exactly. No, she just had to remember. "I was when they trained me. I wasn't as bad at it as other things."
