Alice nodded, popping up to her feet again to attempt it again. It felt a tiny bit like dancing, and so the girl tried to think of it as such while they talked. She lacked Jenn's grace, but she hardly expected to be perfect right off the bat. She was quite attentive when she wanted to learn, and she'd be a fantastic student until she stepped foot outside of the classroom and the lesson flew away again.
"Mmm. I guess that makes sense. They're stronger than us. Better in most ways," she admitted frankly. It was just an established fact, wasn't it? Even Alice knew that. Still, Jenn seemed troubled by kindness, and that notion was quite foreign to the other girl. "But if he wants to be nice to you, it's because you're doing a good job. Or at least because he likes you well enough to be kind regardless, right?"
