"I'm sorry you got caught... It should never have happened to either of us." She smiled sadly, looking at the floor as she spoke. Kenzi was wrong - she should be protecting her. She'd promised to protect people from the Supernaturals, and here she was doing a bad job at it. She couldn't even save herself - Eterna was twisting her into something disgusting, and she was letting it happen, wasn't she?

She didn't trust that the walls didn't have ears somehow, so she bit her tongue on how she was feeling. There'd be time for that after tonight. And plus, she didn't want to admit to Kenzi the apologising wouldn't be so bad - she already thought she was a freak, clearly. "And I'm sorry about what happened at the auction house.
