To say it had been a long day was an understatement. First that vampire came over and actually knew what had happened to him, then he had to cover up the truth just so Tabitha wouldn't cry (he couldn't make a girl cry, master or not), and then he narrowly avoided punishment by some freak blizzard randomly starting up. He was able to light up all the fireplaces that were needed, but then he went out and cut some firewood.
He didn't mind it. He used to do it back home in Scotland, but it was never in August during some wizard's accidental mishap. After cutting wood and dinner, since he couldn't get close to talking to Stefan, the wereram went back to his room, changed into pajama pants, and collapsed on the bed. Within minutes, he was asleep.
