Magnus held his hand up to try to calm them both a bit. He turned first to Alec and offered his best calming and gentle smile. "It's alright Alec. He's not asking for information about the camps. He's trying to ask how you grew up and what it was like compared to now."
He then turned to Hannibal and offered the same smile. "I'm sorry. Alec's a bit... jumpy still. I think he's waiting for some supernatural to jump up and bite at him until there's nothing left. You've heard how many dark stories free humans have been raised on." Magnus could remember many of them, having grown up on them himself.
