Karena laughed softly at how her boy reacted to such a simple statement. Leaning down she pressed a light kiss to the top of his head before adjusting the blanket over his shoulders. "Of course their ours" She answered as she moved to the desk on the other side of the room. Picking up the bottle she always kept their she poured herself a drink. "They're more yours really as you're in the bed more than I am, considering how little I sleep. And don't worry about fixing them, they'll probably only get messed up again later."
Leaning against the furniture, she observed her slave on the bed. Clearly the storm was bothering him. To be honest it was bothering the vampire as well, though not for the same reasons. This weather had come on entirely too fast to be normal. But she would think on that later. For now she would just focus her attentions on Kaegan.
"When I was a little girl and still human, I was always terrified of thunderstorms." she mused, walking back over and sitting on the edge of the bed. "I would take all the pillows I could find and just hide under my bed, using them to make a protective wall. Lord Carrick had found me once and told me that the thunder and lightning was actually Zeus angry with me for being a devil child." She gave a small smile at the memories from so long ago. "I was so mad at him that I was distracted from being scared of the storm until it had already passed."
Reaching up she toyed with the soft curls at the nape of the boys neck. "Is there something that would help you pet?" she asked. She wanted to make sure her boy was comfortable and felt safe.
