At his assurance, Keara silently nodded. She trusted him even if she wasnt exactly sure why. While he'd seen bits of the man's temper, he'd also been nice enough and had yet to lie to her this far.
The only sign that the pain of the cut registered at all was a small hiss of breath that escaped Keara. Really, she'd cut her fingers enough that it wasnt anything that would bother her that terribly. Part of her was even surprised that he quickly bandaged it up. All she offered was a small smile for it and quickly moved her hand back to where it belonged. It this was what being a sacrifice entailed, she could be alright with it.
