"Oh please do put me in my place. Why don't you show the girls what you really are? I'm sure they'd love to see the truth of you, as they have seen the truth of me" Lucius remained utterly calm, his countenance cold and collected. The Witch looked over at Buffy and sighed inwardly, if she really did know the truth of him everything would be so clear cut. She would hate him, loathe him. Attempt to kill him in cold-blood and he would defend himself and be rid of her one way or another. He couldn't do it though. He couldn't tell her. It would destroy her.
He returned his gaze to Ambrose's, Lucius's eyes were utterly devoid of light or life but there was something. Something that no one that hadn't walked the earth for several centuries could pick up on, a slight agitation.
Lucius blinked and it was gone, whatever it had been had been suppressed for the moment. He was focused and emotionless as he snapped his fingers, releasing Evie of his little spell.
"Buffy, take Evienne upstairs. I assume there is a guest room the two of you can prepare?" Lucius commented, his gaze never leaving Ambrose. If they were about to have a showdown then no human should be in the room, far too dangerous. If either got so much as a scratch on them, they would have two Supernaturals turned against them in bloodlust. No need for unnecessary chaos that might distract him.
"I will use my magic as I please and I will use it on Evienne if I wish. Should your home develop sentience I might reconsider"
