"Well it wouldn't be as if I were the only Master ignoring etiquette" Lucius looked Ambrose in the eye for a moment, his own gaze cold and harsh. Lucius entered the property, no longer concerned with the vampire. His Buffy and Evie were now the sole objects of his attentions.
"Buffy, I expect you are now fully recovered from our last meeting? Hopefully you've been working on your form, which was frankly appalling. I've always told you that a strong defense is the basis of offense, if only you applied that to your fighting rather than just your wit..." Lucius told her with a smirk, of course it had been Daniel that had told her that and not him. Those exact words actually including the reference to her wit that had followed.
"And as for you, my dear" he turned to look at his slave "Thank you for proving my point that you need rules to structure your life for your own protection. Anything could happen to a lone slave wandering the streets, especially one as pretty as you. My mark can only do so much to protect you on its own, not everyone respects other people's property" he told her and although his words were cold, there was a touch of concern in his eyes for her. The stupid child was so naive and helpless, he was hardly the worst thing that could have happened to her. At least he viewed her as a person, one that needed guidance and a firm hand, but a person nevertheless.
