Buffy also took not of the darkening sky. Apparently the weather predictions were off. She'd always assumed they got witches or seers to predict that sort of thing, but in a world like theirs, who could really be sure about anything? She took a seat on the couch, folding her legs under herself as she took a spot near to Evie.
Honestly, she had not idea what they were going to do about Lucius. Considering the amount of time she'd spent doing what she'd considered to be righteous battle with Lucius, she guessed they could get away with spending some time with Evie before notifying him, if they would at all. This was going to be one of those things she'd have to trust Ambrose with. He knew the laws of his world, and the way everything worked between masters. She looked up to him for moment. She definitely trusted him, but she couldn't be sure she wouldn't try to jump in if things got sketchy.
"Take your time. Deep breaths and all that, then spill when you're ready," Buffy continued, not sure what it was that Evie felt she could only talk to her about. For now, Lucius wasn't around, and she could focus on helping the other girl with her problem. "Or we can just hang out for a little bit too. Whatever you want, I'm ready with the helping."
