When he called out the higher number, Alec nearly sagged in relief. Magnus still wanted him....wait WHAT? Why was he thinking that was good thing? He was as hunter not a slave. He should not be thinking of being a slave, but then again, being Magnus' slave was preferable to this other man, at least he hoped so.
The man just lifted his hand and up the number again "Eight." He said, as if he was bored and had all the time in the world.
Alec gulped, how long would this go on? Would Magnus get tired of eventually leave? He looked the the auctioneer, but man seemed to only seeing dollar signs, of course he was just a means to an end. He looked back at Magnus, then to the other man.
