Isaac bit hard into his bottom lip, trying to distract himself away from all the thoughts swirling in his mind. He didn't like talking like this, nor did he like change. Change meant that things could go bad, and he wasn't sure what he would do if that happened again.
"I don't know," he said, with an odd dismissive tone to his voice. "Is there anything to talk about? I don't think there is, really."
