Every morning seemed even better than the last, now that Isaac felt like he had really found his place. He had always enjoyed his routine, making sure Derek was cared for and fed, but now he did it all with a small spring in his step. He had that spring, and a smile on his face, as he got to his Master's room and knocked lightly on the door.
"Breakfast, Sir," he said cheerfully, waiting to be given leave to enter.
