Buffy nodded. She was still getting all kinds of used to this being open and honest with someone you loved thing. She was used to hiding things from the people she cared about. There was always something you didn't want them to see, after all. For her it had always been her vulnerability. Ambrose had been teaching her that sometimes it was okay to be vulnerable, but that didn't mean it wasn't a difficult lesson for her.
She sat down next to him, not quite sure where to begin without it seeming awkward. Lucius was a difficult subject to talk about regardless, and she didn't want Ambrose to get the wrong idea about it. "I talked to Evie Saturday, and I've been thinking a lot about it. I've obviously had multiple breaks from thinking about it that have been all kinds of amazing, but it's still kind of bothering me. What we talked about, anyway." She took a deep breath, making sure that she was looking him in the eye. "You trust me, right?"
