If Buffy was conflicted, Ambrose was the exact opposite. Ambrose was happy, elated even. After the weekend everything just seemed to go into place. He had Buffy, and while she was technically a slave, she was his everything. He felt like he finally was free with her and not have to hide his past. He was even thinking about leaving the door open to his room and maybe showing his office. He was still weary about his bedroom. It was still his only place that he could be safe from everything.
He had not even noticed this internal conflict that Buffy was going through. He thought she was happy as he was. Although they had been embarrassed when they returned to the party, it had been very intimate and freeing. He should have seen the lull in air, but he was just too happy to really see more more than what was in his bubble.
Ambrose was on his tablet, yes even he could use technology it just took him longer than most, looking for a tv. Buffy had hinted about it some time in the last week. Ambrose preferred his books to motion pictures. He had grown up in the area where photos were the greatest. He had seen several movies, his favorite would still be the silent films of the 1920's. He supposed that if he had bought a microwave, then it subsequent replacement that it was time for some newer technology.
