She wanted to take umbrage with the way he was clearly planning to force her into her sessions, and the unspoken implication that she may be abusing the drugs beyond their use to keep her tiger at bay; but Rajani supposed he didn't have any reason yet to believe she would continue voluntarily.
If she thought he would continue to write the prescriptions without her participation in spite of their agreement, she supposed that she might not. Janie would just have to establish that she was capable of handling herself, and then this scrutiny would ease.
Or she would find a doctor who would be less difficult. But she would rather not have anyone getting the wrong impression of her, and the fewer doctors she must speak with, the better.
