Emrys had spent the week doing exactly what was asked of him, nothing more and nothing less. Other than the afternoon where Alice had wandered onto the property, He had not seen or spoken to his Master, always making sure he was gone before stepping out of his prison like room. One thing he had done on his own and for himself however was taken some books from their homes on the shelf to read while he was locked up. Mir had never said that the books couldn't be touched so he had filled up the time in his solitary confinement getting lost in the world of literature.
This evening had been the same as the others this week. His dinner had been left at his door by Jenn, a simple knock indicating that it was there. She hadn't dared enter the bedroom since she had confessed what she had done to cause his punishment. And that was just fine with him. He had waited until he heard her footsteps receding before taking it inside, where it sat mostly untouched on the nightstand. He was curled up on the bed, thumbing through a copy of Shakespeare's works when he heard the knock on the door.
At first he had thought it would be Jenn, seeing if he was done with his tray. But then he heard the voice and his breath caught in his chest. His first thought was that he had done something wrong, but his Master sounded calm. Which left the boy wondering what it was that the werewolf wanted. Was his punishment over? And why was he asking permission to enter? Setting the book down he took a breath, readying himself for whatever would happen this evening.
"If you wish to Master" He called out softly, knowing Mir would hear him.
