Liam carefully leaned the sword against the wall and got up as Carrick arrived, then crossed his arms in front of him. His expression was guarded, as he looked at the vampire's chest, not being eager to make eye contact.
“Good evening, master. If you want, I can train by myself. I mean, if you have something better to do..?”
The dizziness from his concussion had subsided, but the head pains were still there. If that was Carrick's reaction for something this minor, he didn't know what will happen, should he screw up majorly. He decided, that if he wanted to survive, he should better stay out of Carrick's way as good as he could.
