"Maybe it'll never feel like it's over for me," she reflected, forgetting for a second that Dr. Lecter was even in the room. As soon as she remembered, however, it was back to the same, brave looks. Sometimes she wanted it to be over. Most of the time she wondered if she it ever would be.
"I thought everyone would be various degrees of cruel and evil. Like villains from fairytales on crack or something," she admitted. She shrugged. "I don't agree with it, and I never will, but there are apparently some out there who aren't 100% The Absolute Suck. My master is fine most of the time." Beyond fine. Better than fine. Amazing. "But he's still firm, a-and there are rules."
