Re: Holding Pens - Lexi
It looked to Jasper like the slave was about to get a reprimand, as the guard nodded to the bloke who had complained, and looked towards them. Ever-observant of his surroundings, Jasper gave the guard a look. One that implied he was busy with this slave for the minute.
Although Jasper's telepathic powers were minimal, he could tell a witch from a human without needing to ask, and as the slave mentioned his scar, there were brief mental images radiating from him. All Jasper could pick out were muddied hints of distrust, punctuated by violent jabs against the ether. Not from the lad himself, but someone in his life. Jasper wasn't sure he liked what those impressions implied.
"Some sorts are just plain nosy." He observed, keeping half an eye on the hovering guard and breaking a small grin when the boy called him handsome. "And yeah. Looking for someone who knows how to cook a bit, and can keep a lawn trimmed.." He eyed up the boy, who wasn't very tall, or brawny. Impossibly young with probably no housekeeping skills whatsoever. ".. Don't look like that's you though."
