The fae, who happened to be browsing that day, walked right past the blonde lad a few times. His mind was on finding a decent little Eve, who could most likely cook. Maybe he'd get a boy to do the gardens some time soon too.
On wandering along the pens, then turning back again, Jasper did overhear the blond boy's retort to a prospective owner, who then walked away looking pretty irritated. The magpie stopped to look at the boy's sheet of information. Price seemed good. Probably the mouthiness would explain that.
"Not so keen on getting sold then, eh nipper?" He mused aloud, more conversationally than anything else.
