It wasn't exactly his time off right now, but there wasn't much to do anyway, and Ben agreed on taking the dogs out by himself, so Liam could have at least a bit of practice today. He wasn't too worried about getting caught, knowing that his master was currently sleeping and that the other slaves appreciate his hard work around the estate enough to not tell on him.
He was focused on his exercise, trying to keep his blows strong but precise enough to hit the dummy at where its liver, lungs and heart would be. He turned around quickly, sword raised, when he was startled by a female voice. It was that vampire that Liam had had a glimpse now and then in his master's estate. The slave had never gotten close enough to actually meet her, and was more than surprised seeing her here and now. He had never seen a vampire in the daylight before.
He paled a bit, slowly lowering his sword. “Well, I... am not dead yet, madam.” He replied gruffly, panting a little, and sheathed his sword. He gave her a small bow looking at the ground. “You are my master's guest, right? I am Liam. Liam Mctavish.” He was nervous, which seemed to be his natural reaction in the presence of women, most of all of supernatural ones. And he wasn't sure whether she would know that he was supposed to be working right now.
