Re: 1st Floor: The Poles
The brunette was slowly drifting in and out of consciousness but blinked her eyes open at his gesture of acceptance. A genuine smile creeped its way slowly across her lips until she was nodding. Piper had heard him practicing, jamming, writing songs or whatever it was he did in the music room but always seemed to miss hearing his singing voice. She even considered that he didn't sing for anyone but himself or at all and her mind was playing tricks on her. By the time she'd gotten down the hall, it was a guitar solo or he was hungry and dragging her away for lunch. With a sigh, she explained, "Don't stop if I fall asleep," and got a bit more comfortable against the window as he started to drive. This night of fun and freedom had gotten away from her and she was eager to sleep it all away to wake up to DeWitt and hangover waffles in the morning.
