Magnus grinned. "I shall take your word for it," he promised. "There's no call to ruin such a lovely dress." He let go of her hair as it darkened once more. "I must confess to preferring this face," he admitted, gesturing towards her cheek, "but your ability strikes me dumb with amazement. What you do as easily as breathing, I have never found a spell to accomplish." He said this simply, without any kind of envy or irritation. Four hundred and twenty-eight years on this planet, and every day there was something new to delight or surprise him. He would never grow used to it - but then, he never wanted to.
"It is, isn't it?" he mused. His grin took on a wickedly playful mien. "Very well. What would you like to know, treasure? You have my permission to ask anything you like; I won't be offended."
